Bachelor Pad: Let's All Throw Eggs At The Ugly Girl!

Last night’s Bachelor Pad really lowered the bar for all reality shows when it lined up its entire cast, painted targets on their backs, and let the members of the opposite sex throw eggs at the people to whom they felt the least attracted. Yes, you read that right.

Chris Harrison explained the rules to the cast before they stripped down into matching white bikinis and shorts (for the ladies and men, respectively): “You will be asked three, very difficult and revealing questions,” he said. The questions were: 1. Who do you want to go home this week? 2. Who do you think deserves to be here the least? 3. Who do you find the least attractive? What the what now? But hey! At ABC had the decency to blindfold the poor souls with targets on their backs, so that they didn’t know who, exactly, was pelting them with eggs ’cause they’re so darn fugly and all. Honestly, we’re crying with contestant Erica, who was pelted with an egg by almost every dude in the godforsaken house.

This game seems better suited for schoolyard bullies or, well, nowhere at all ever because it is fucking terrible. I don’t know that I can think of a more grotesque humiliation ever aired on reality television, and that’s saying a lot. Bravo, ABC. Bravo.
