Awesome Girls Show Off Inventions at the White House Science Fair

Today was the fourth annual White House Science Fair, which means that 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is currently crawling with baby geniuses, all ready to show off their very impressive research and inventions. This year’s event happened to be particularly special in that, while co-ed, it was particularly directed at girls in science.

Getty has released a whole slew of photos and — unsurprisingly — they’re all very inspiring. Gaze upon the faces of tomorrow’s top female engineers!

As for the tiara-wearing Girl Scouts at the top, that’s Troop 2612, winners of the Junior FIRST Lego League Challenge. They’re working on developing a flood-proof bridge.
