Hey, it’s the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards where everyone is only here to see Rihanna and Beyoncé and where we must suffer through Key & Peele serving as wannabe millennial quasi-hosts. First, watch Ariana Grande’s pitchy and highly triggering spin-themed performance (minus the screaming instructors...or is Ariana the screaming instructor here?) of her single “Side to Side” (which isn’t very good). Alongside her, Nicki Minaj and male dancers who looked an awful lot like Slater.
