Ariana Grande Knew She Would 'Literally' Marry Pete Davidson When They Met Back In 2016

Last night on Bleep Bloop Bleep Let’s Laugh With Celebrities With Mr. Good Time Smiley Pants, Ariana Grande promoted her new album sweetener with a very sweet (or saccharine?) story about the moment she fell in love with her now-fiancé, SNL star Pete Davidson.

Grande met Davidson when she hosted SNL back in 2016, and had a “huge” crush on the comedian immediately, but they never exchanged numbers. Her friends, she claims, used to “make fun” of her for being so into him (from afar). When Fallon asked if Grande ever expecting things to move beyond a mere crush, Grande said:

“Everyone’s gonna be like [mwahhhh], I left his writer’s room… and my tour manager was in the hallway… I’m not a crush-y person, I don’t have crushes on people I don’t know… I left and I jokingly said to my tour manager, ‘I’m, I’m marrying him, 100%. I’m literally marrying him.’”

Folks, she’s literally marrying him.
