Anti-Bullying Measures Are A Gay Plot, Says Gay-Bullying Org

Latest

What could be wrong with anti-bullying campaigns? Well, they could encourage acceptance of gays and lesbians, for example — which, if you’re Focus On The Family, is very, very wrong.

In an interview with The Denver Post, Candi Cushman of Focus On The Family said, “We feel more and more that activists are being deceptive in using anti-bullying rhetoric to introduce their viewpoints, while the viewpoint of Christian students and parents are increasingly belittled.”

She elaborated to Talking Points Memo: “Listing certain categories creates a system ripe for reverse discrimination, sending the message that certain characteristics are more worthy of protection than others.” And then she called out GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian And Straight Education Network, which develops anti-bullying curricula for schools such as the one shown above.

We look forward to Focus On The Family’s campaign in support of the word “faggot.” Or is that belittling?
