Excuse me, Jezebel. There are way more than 48 women working along the front lines of the war in Afghanistan. There may be only 48 women on the Marine Female Engagement Teams, but women go out on patrols for reasons every day. Women work as medics, cooks, intelligence specialists, and any other number of specialties on tiny combat outposts all over this country. Please show servicewomen the respect they deserve by not denigrating their service. We get shot at, we shoot back, we run for cover during incoming attacks, and we provide aid to the injured, not to mention do our regular, non-combat jobs.
The Marine FETs are badass, but they are not the only ones out here.
