No news outlet offers more thorough coverage of the issues than Fox News. Rather than just telling people there's a problem with weight scrutiny in the media, yesterday they showed them by running an interview with Growing Pains actress Tracey Gold about her struggle with anorexia directly above a slideshow titled, "Pregnant Or Burrito Grande?" on the entertainment section of the network's website.

They've now added a few posts between the two items, but Media Matters got a screen shot. There's nothing like watching a video in which Gold discusses weighing 80 pounds and laments how young actresses are attacked if they're not stick thin, then flipping to a post that reads, "In Hollywood, it's hard to keep track of who's expecting a kid and who just looks like she's eating for two."

I don't think it's possible for me to have a flat stomach, without even a little roundness to it. Even when I was at my smallest (and I was really small but also exercising) I had a little pooch. Not everyone can achieve wall-abs and it's crazy that this has become the norm because it's not normal for me or anyone in my family. So we'll always be fat, I guess.
