Amy Winehouse Documentary Will Premiere in the UK This Summer

Amy, the documentary about the life of gone-too-soon crooner Amy Winehouse, has both a poster and a U.K. release date.

First announced in 2013, Amy was directed by Asif Kapadia, and uses unseen archive footage and previously unheard tracks. The British filmmaker’s 2010 documentary Senna, about late Formula One star Ayrton Senna, earned critical acclaim and picked up two BAFTA awards.

The film will premiere July 3, 2015. No word so far about if and when it will hit the U.S.
