3-Year-Old Golf 'Prodigy' Can Putt. Big Fucking Deal.

James Grimes, a 3-year-old little boy from Louisiana is being hailed as a golf prodigy by a CBS local news affiliate because “he hits every ball.” BFD! He doesn’t even get them near the hole half the time.

If “Baby James” had actually sunk a ball from a distance longer than a couple of feet then maybe the hoopla would be warranted. We’re supposed to be super impressed that he’s been playing golf at his parents’ country club since he was just 18 months old, but frankly, we expect a little bit more from our phenoms. I mean, he’s good for his age, but a less-than-average adult could probably still beat him. He’ll be competing in his first golf tournament this summer. Get back to us if he actually wins.
