You know how Taylor Swift says that all of her songs are about her relationships? Her new song, “Dear John,” seems to detail what went down between Taylor and John Mayer. And it doesn’t end well.
Back in February, In Touch reported that John Mayer and Taylor Swift had “gotten cozy”; she was seen sitting on his lap with her arms around his neck, and a source claimed she spent the night in his hotel suite.
What actually happened between Taylor and John? We don’t know. But the lyrics to “Dear John” go like this:

Uh-oh. Sounds like the 32-year-old guy might have gone too far with a teenage girl! But the question must be asked: Was it just a mindscramble, a whirlwind romance, an emotional vortex, or did John and Taylor also have sex? Because seriously, I have zero proof of this, but I think it sounds like Taylor might have lost her virginity to John, who then added a notch to his headboard and moved on. Note: This is solely based on the bad poetry I wrote when I was around the same age. When I was in love and he didn’t feel the same way, the poetry was sad. But when I was in love and we had sex (my first time) and then he acted like a fucking jerk and asked, “Who is this?” when I called his house, the poetry had an angry undertone, which I think I detect in Taylor’s lyrics.
