Woman Jumps Out of Moving Car After Seeing Spider, Causes Crash

Latest

An Indiana woman named Angela Kipp was backing out of her driveway when she noticed a spider hanging out on her shoulder. She promptly GTFO. Yes, she jumped out of the vehicle while it was moving, and while her nine-year-old son was in the backseat.

According to police, the child climbed into the driver’s seat and tried stepping on the brake, but instead he put his foot on the gas, causing the car to hit a passing school bus. The boy was in stable condition with minor head injuries, reports USA Today. Thankfully, there were no children aboard the bus at the time of the accident. The bus driver was also uninjured. Authorities say Kipp will most likely not face criminal charges.

I hate spiders as much as the next arachnophobe, but jumping out of a moving vehicle because you saw a bug is a tad extreme. At least, that’s what I want to believe. Was it a tarantula? Black widow?
