Politico says that “several women close to Obama” including Valerie Jarrett, convinced him to choose Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz” over former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland for DNC chair, partly to appeal to Jewish, Floridian, and/or female voters. We’re big fans.
