I don’t want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need. I don’t care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree. I just want to DVR this tremendous piece of art. Santa grant my wish. All I want for Christmas is this.

Here’s the official synopsis of A Christmas Melody:

Mariah Carey portrays a music teacher who helps a stressed-out young girl named Emily write a song she will sing at a town’s Christmas variety show. The girl has just moved with her mom to begin a new life just before the holidays. And the teacher does wonders to help with the adjustment process – also intervening to help her mother find love and happiness as well. Expect that Carey herself might also sing a song or two.

That thing Mariah did that one time premieres Saturday, December 19 on Hallmark.
