On The Tonight Show, the Wild actress played a good sport and agreed to sing “random phrase carols” with host Jimmy Fallon, where all of the words from classic carols like “Silent Night” had been changed to nonsense phrases like “Slimey toad, bumpy toad.” For Reese, not only were the new lyrics a toughie, but so was staying on key. But, you know, holidays aren’t about singing like you’re still performing in Walk The Line—where it seemed like she could actually hold a note—they’re about the spirit, right? I’ll keep telling myself that too.
