Watch 25-Year-Old Jon Hamm Get Rejected on a Dating Show

Here’s an episode of ’90s dating show The Big Date, hosted by Mark L. Walberg (of Temptation Island fame) and featuring a young Jon Hamm who, back then, was just a lovesick and devastatingly handsome waiter with the haircut of Shawn Hunter.

Despite his promise to treat a woman to “an evening of total fabulosity” (he starts talking around the 3:17 mark), Hamm was rejected quickly in favor of another contestant because because the other guy had better manners. Major Dick Whitman move, Hamm! Someone as slick as Don Draper would never make such an amateur mistake.
