It sucks, but done properly I can at least understand it.
A lot of boys are turned off by the idea of dancing because it's "girly." If they could have an introductory class where they could get comfortable with the idea that there's nothing wrong with boys dancing, they could then be "mainstreamed" into a co-ed class.
Also, sadly, this is probably marketing to PARENTS who don't want to "turn their kid gay."
