Tom Ford: For the Sexy, Slinky Rocker Chick in You

London Fashion Week marches on, and yesterday Tom Ford delivered a typically Fordian, which is to say extremely sexy, collection. (How sexy are we talking? Nipple pasty-level sexy.)

The collection was an obvious nod to glam-rock, with a sea of shaggy-haired models emerging in leather, lace, glitter, transparent chiffon and tight miniskirts. It was reminiscent of Ford’s time at Gucci and also of Hedi Slimane’s stuff for Saint Laurent, but perhaps more provocative than either — I repeat, nipple pasties played a prominent role in the line.
