In a third suspected terrorist attack Monday, three people were injured by a gunman who burst into an Islamic Center in Zurich, Switzerland. The man then fled, leaving some of his victims seriously wounded.
Agence France-Presse reports that a body was found a few hundred yards from the scene, but it’s unclear if that person was the shooter. The three injured people were all men, aged aged 30, 35 and 56. The shooter, described as wearing dark clothes and dark woollen hat, ran from the center and towards Central Station, the city’s main train station.
There’s no word yet about a possible motive for the shooting. Most of the worshippers, according to AFP, were from North Africa, Somalia and Eritrea. Earlier today, the Russian ambassador to Turkey was assassinated and nine people were killed when a truck crashed into a Christmas market in Berlin.
