There Will Be 6 Separate Trials for Cops Charged in Freddie Gray's Murder

On Wednesday, a Maryland judge refused to drop charges against six police officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray and announced there would be a separate trials for each defendant.

According to NBC News. Circuit Court Judge Barry Williams also dismissed “charges due to prosecutorial misconduct” by District Attorney Marilyn Mosby submitted by the defense, which was an effort to push Mosby off the case. The court reconvened Wednesday afternoon to hear the defense’s request to try each of the six officers separately, and the judge agreed.
