There Is Already a Knockoff of Amal Alamuddin's Wedding Gown

Are you interested in being married to George Clooney? WELL TOO DAMN BAD. He’s already taken in case you somehow haven’t heard. However, if you’d like to marry some other dude and pretend like you’re marrying George Clooney, it is now that much easier to uphold the fantasy by purchasing a knockoff of Amal Alamuddin’s Oscar de la Renta lace wedding gown.

New York designer Isabelle Armstrong is selling a $7,200 look-alike which will be available in Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue stores.

Sure? I guess it looks same-ish, but really, any white, lace gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline is probably going to look close enough.

Part of me wonders if Isabelle Armstrong already had a similar looking dress lined up that she’s just now slapping Amal Alamuddin’s name on, because if not, HOT DAMN THAT WAS FAST.

If you like the gown and don’t have Oscar de la Renta personally tatting lace for you, I say go for it. Although, be warned, Armstrong’s gown doesn’t seem to come with whatever magical wind machine Amal borrowed from Beyoncé and it probably won’t bestow upon you her ridiculously good taste.
