The Singing Nun Covered Flashdance to Win the Italian Voice

Last night, Sister Cristina Scuccia—the adorable singing nun who blew everyone away with the amazing Alicia Keys cover—won the Italian version of The Voice. Her winning number? “What a Feeling,” from the 1983 classic Flashdance, complete with backup dancers.

The New York Times reports:

“My dream is to recite Our Father together,” she said upon winning, intoning the Lord’s Prayer, while the show’s judges shuffled their feet and mumbled, visibly embarrassed. The show’s host noted her “very original way” of accepting.
