While traditional celebrities tend to avoid publicly sharing news about their plastic surgery, reality TV stars are naturally much more open about the work they’ve had done. We have them to thank for teaching us about all the newest and craziest cosmetic procedures.
For example, there’s the episode of KUWTK that shows Kim Kardashian getting a vampire facial. Here’s Jacqueline from Real Housewives of New Jersey on having ultherapy (for anti-aging). And, most recently, this is Porsha Stewart from RHOA reposting an Instagram clip from her surgeon Dr. Simon Ourian, and thanking him for “my beautiful new nose-done in minutes WITHOUT surgery!!!”
The video is pretty fascinating and shows just how much a little filler can change a person’s facial profile.
The treatment isn’t new (I’m just kinda late on it) and, of course, it’s had some skeptics. Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn told Yahoo Beauty last year (in an article calling the nose work “too good to be true”), “I am hesitant to perform the procedure because the nose has a higher risk of complications from filler injections than most other part of the face. The most dreaded complication is intravascular injection of a filler into a blood vessel.”
Dr. Ourian continues to get praise from stars. Cosmo published a piece in 2015 about Epione Clinic, where he specializes in these non-surgical nose jobs, botox, fillers, scar removal, etc. Racked also wrote about how the Kardashians are “obsessed” with his center, including Kim, who went to him for laser stretch mark removal.
Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump both swear by his treatments, and he also does Kylie’s lip fillers. Iggy Azalea called him her “skin angel.”
Dr. Ourian, meanwhile, posts a ton of patient results on his Instagram page. Like this “non-surgical chin augmentation” procedure that uses multi micro-droplet injections (with Juvederm, Voluma, Sculptra or artefiland, according to the caption) and takes 15 minutes to complete.
And here’s Khloe, who previously sought out Dr. Ourian for some ass laser-ing in a KUWTK episode.
