The Mountain Marries a Molehill

Attention height-difference fetishists: A very large actor from that TV show that’s finally ending next year just married his very tiny girlfriend.

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who plays The Mountain—AKA Ser Gregor Clegane, AKA One Scary Motherfucker—on HBO’s Game of Thrones married his girlfriend Kelsey Henson in Iceland over the weekend.

“It is with great pleasure that I now get to call Kelsey Morgan Henson my wife!” wrote Björnsson in an Instagram post which definitely showed off his softer side. “I get to hold this beautiful woman through thick and thin for the rest of our lives! I’m so excited for all of the future adventures we will tackle side by side.”

He followed up the caption with an emoji of a newborn chick and a gorilla. I think he’s the gorilla! I think she’s the chick!

In case you’re curious: People reports that Björnsson is 6 feet 9 inches tall, while Henson is 5 feet 2 inches tall.

The man is a ruler and a half taller than her.

“Looking forward to pulling this big guy around for the rest of my life,” wrote Henson in her own Instagram post from their big day. “I love you now and forever and promise to stand by your side through all that life throws at us. I love you baby!”

Wow, I love love.

As a tall girl (5'11) I get unreasonably annoyed at this stuff. If you’re 5'2, everyone is taller than you- most guys can pick you up. Leave the giants to those of us who need them! I have never been girly or felt delicate because I’m always taller than the guys, even in flats.
