The Intense For Colored Girls Trailer

When we heard that Tyler Perry would be directing the film adaptation of award-winning play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf, we were skeptical. And we still are. But the trailer actually looks good.

Why has Janet Jackson received top billing here? She's the only member of the cast who's not known primarily as an actress (save for Macy), she's never "wowed" in any film performance, & this ensemble includes far more renowned actresses, several of whom are award-winning or nominated. Is her character more central than others or is this about her being a Tyler Perry film regular?
