The Good News and the Bad News About the New Cleopatra TV Series

Certain dead people have the dubious honor of being resuscitated over and over again for entertainment purposes: Marilyn Monroe, Jesus, Lincoln. And Cleopatra, the last pharaoh of Ancient Egypt. Her tale has been told by luminaries like Shakespeare and Liz Taylor, and now there's a four-hour miniseries in the works.

The good news? A history-inspired lady-centric TV series is always welcome; seems like they usually revolve around a man, from Spartacus and John Adams to The Tudors.

The bad news? No, Lindsay Lohan's not going to be in it (as far as we know!) But: It's gonna be on Lifetime.

Sort of topical- I know there is the Madonna Wallis Simpson movie(Sort of...I heard about it vaguely) but that would be awesome to see done Showtime/HBO style. Really get into all the family drama against the backdrop of war. And how nobody has done one on Madame Pompadour yet is flabbergasting.
