The Creepy-Ass Gone Girl Trailer Is Finally Here

The first full trailer for Gone Girl has finally dropped—not that it shows much, besides Ben Affleck looking maybe-slimy-maybe-misunderstood as Nick Dunne and lots of conflict between characters you’ll maybe remember from the book. Throw in a cover of “She” by the Psychedelic Furs’ Richard Butler and boom, you’ve got yourself a thriller.

It’s a vast improvement over Ben Affleck humping Rosamund Pike’s leg on a morgue gurney, that’s for sure. The big question is: What’s the ending? Author Gillian Flynn told Entertainment Weekly they’d changed up the third act for the movie, so even fans of the book will be slightly in the dark. The last shot is a corpse-y Rosamund Pike floating underwater, but if it’s anything like the book, you can’t trust the hint. Via the Hollywood Reporter:
