Super Bad Clothes At Adventureland Premiere

The problem with having an awesome young cast, like that o Adventureland, is that the duds at the premiere invariably blow. And last night’s showing, at L.A.’s Chinese 6 Theaters, was mind-blowingly awful.

The Good:

Kristen Wiig is such a talented comedian it’s easy to forget what she actually looks like; and she cleans up like a dream.

I’ve never gotten the whole Ryan Reynolds thing, but he’s looking seriously dapper.

Kym Jackson’s chocolate gown’s pretty, even if she must feel weird around so many kids in jeans, kinda like a prom chaperone.

Kat Dennings always looks so refreshingly normal, in a glam sort of way. The shoes? Well…

The Bad:

As if the rave-ready print wasn’t enough, Kristen Stewart‘s frock is also backless.

To her credit, Kimisha Renee Davis almost pulls off what appears to be a napkin tucked into her tunic.

We all probably wore some variation on this getup when we were Kaili Thorne’s age. And then our moms made us go upstairs and put on “something pretty.”

Let us never speak of Nikki Reed’s pants again.

Poor Jennifer Blanc obviously got jerked out of bed by a fire alarm and had to scramble into whatever was handy…which, obviously, meant Chelsea boots and a fedora.
