Sunday Sign-Off: Swan Song

By this point, you’ve probably gorged yourself into a semi-catatonic state on new episodes of Arrested Development, and therefore have little energy left to watch the series finale of Smash, the show that went from good, to so-bad-it’s-good, to bad, to so-bad-it’s-unwatchable, and, finally, to tolerable. It’s a shame that Smash couldn’t have been as good as Megan Hilty’s voice, but who knows? The road to six seasons and a movie is paved with uncertainty and Debra Messing’s discarded scarves.
