Stephen Colbert Launches Twitter War Against Senator Kyl

Last night, Stephen Colbert mocked Arizona Senator Jon Kyl for lying about Planned Parenthood before Congress, then claiming that his remark was “not intended to be a factual statement.” On Tuesday Colbert starting Tweeting various statements like, “Jon Kyl developed his own line of hair care products just so he could test them on bunnies” followed by #NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement. Then on the Colbert Report he invited everyone to join in. Let this be a lesson to all lawmakers: Don’t use truthiness as a defense while Colbert is watching.
