Latest

A study of 3,354 women from Europe and North America found that women who start their periods at age 10 or earlier are more likely to suffer from asthma or poor lung function. The women also tend to have a smaller stature and higher levels of body fat. Low birth weight has been linked to early menstruation, and researchers believe the respiration problems may be related to poor fetal lung development.
