For proof that the trend of ‘90s fashion is never ever going to go away, Nasty Gal has teamed up with Courtney Love on an upcoming 18-piece collection.

The lingerie-inspired collaboration was based on the singer’s old stage outfits. “There were photos and I had a few [pieces] that I had saved,” Love told Vogue. “We went through some of my rock-star ’90s stuff and redid that in a more modern context, and some new things as well.”

Sigh, I like it. Sneak peeks show baby doll dresses, a goth, Stevie Nicks-meets-Elvira-type gown and a lace bodysuit. So, not TOO different than what Nasty Gal already carries. Two footwear styles, including a mesh stiletto and a Mary Jane, will also be available. The collection, which ranges from $48 to $188, will be released on January 14.

So way off the topic of fashion here, but does anyone else know that one person who just flies off the handle at the mention of Courtney Love, Yoko Ono, or whoever Elliott Smith’s partner was? And then you have to stop yourself from shaking them vigorously by the shoulders and yelling that these women weren’t demons targeting their favorite musicians? No? Ok. I'll take the baby doll dress.
