Et tu Starbucks? Jezebel’s own Julianne Escobedo Shepherd wrote a wonderful send-up in today’s New York Times about those beautiful, slick pieces of plastic (Starbucks announced it will no longer carry CDs).

Last week I reminisced about stalking the rap aisle in Tower Records on 66th street (RIP) where I’d rip the parental advisory sticker off CDs I planned to purchase.

Now everyone go on and watch Empire Records and have a gorgeous saturday night.
