Yesterday a fan asked Rihanna why she's still following Chris Brown on Twitter (among 382 other people), writing, "I never thought you would go back to him! You better not, its your life but you do have ppl that look up to you. e.g young girls" Rihanna replied, "its fuckin twitter, not the alter! calm down." Later she apologized after learning the fan is a 14-year-old girl, writing, "babygirl I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt or offend u! Just needed to make it clear to the Navy! I still Stan for u xoxo"

Rihanna makes nothing but poor choices with regards to her image. Following Chris Brown on Twitter is just par for the course. I'm more disturbed about her song S&M which is sung from the perspective of a sub. If she hadn't been involved in a very public domestic abuse case, this could have been okay, but in context, this is a terrible song choice! It's sad that even when one of her young fans tells her she's setting a piss poor example for all her young fans out there her knee-jerk reaction is to be defensive instead of posting a thoughtful response. She's human, I know, but I can't think of a worse persona to be in the spotlight like she is. I think I'd rather have a Foxy Brown or Lil Kim over a Rihanna in the media any day of the week.
