Reader to Columnist: I Used to Want to Be With You But You're Fat Now

The best thing about working on the internet is the ease with which readers can get in touch with you. It’s so nice to be privy to thoughts about your work and, more importantly, what you look like! At least, that’s what Telegraph columnist Bryony Gordon learned (though not for the first time) when she received an email from a man who has “fantasised” about her over the years but now thinks she needs to keep her “ballooning figure” in check.

Gordon tweeted said email on Tuesday morning:

It is perhaps better than some other emails she’s gotten from readers.

Gordon’s gotten tons of support from her followers, and she certainly has perspective on the whole thing.
