The ten-year-old Oscar nominee — who starred in Beasts Of The Southern Wild, appeared in 12 Years a Slave and landed the lead in the big-budget remake of Annie, to be released at Christmas this year — is joined by a puppy in this first ad.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Giorgio Armani says of the young star: “Her kindness, curiosity and openness towards others really struck me, as they are all traits I admire.” And Quvenzhané says: “It’s fun to wear Armani Junior since I really like the clothes. It’s young. It’s cool. My friends are going to want to borrow all my clothes.” You know what else is cool? That the first design she’s wearing is not a dress.
