The calendar says summer’s over but this dog running into the sea with all the joy in the entire world says otherwise. SUMMER’S NOT GOING ANYWHERE, DAMN YOU.

The video, via the Daily Dot, is the work of an Italian man who strapped a GoPro camera onto his dog Walter’s back. This was genius because like so many dogs, Walter really loves the water. Have you ever taken a dog to the beach? It’s like celebrating Christmas with a four-year-old. You just think you’re having a good time, until a labrador retriever belly-flops into the surf, dragging you behind.

Please let’s not do winter yet. Bring Walter and let’s set sail for endless summer.
