As one who has called 911 regarding domestic abuse (my neighbor threw his girlfriend against our shared wall so hard it rattled my pictures), I can tell you that it is beyond pleasant. But the emotional stress I went through in describing to the operator what was happening is NOTHING compared to what the girlfriend was going through. I may have cried but she had the bruises.
I'll never hesitate to call again.
