Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s wedding was a sight to behold: There were four days of festivities; there was a 75-foot long veil; there were in-laws Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, also engaged, announcing their own wedding date so shortly afterward you have to wonder—did they feel a little upstaged? (I would!)

There were also tears—a lot of tears, which makes sense given all the high drama. Speaking to People (exclusively), Chopra and Jonas both described the wedding as an emotional affair. “It was all tears. All tears,” said Chopra, and for some reason, I imagine her still dabbing tears away from her eyes as she says this. “I could not hold it in.”

Jonas does not reference crying outright, but still sounds completely overcome with emotion here—one might even say verklempt. “The emotions were running high during the ceremonies, I think especially during the Western wedding for me,” he said. “You know you think your whole life about that moment. Honestly, I could not have imagined it would be as perfect as it was. It was highly emotional.”

If I had to attend two weddings in a row, I’d be straight-up bawling the whole time too. If those two weddings were my own? I don’t even know. At least now that the ceremonies are over, the newlyweds can stop fielding questions from the People reporters they gave exclusive rights to their wedding to and process it all while enjoying their honeymoon. Bon voyage, Priyonas! Pack some tissues just in case.

You know you think your whole life about that moment.

I’m intrigued when people say they dreamed of their wedding day their whole lives, and/or always knew they wanted to have kids.

While I’m married and have a child, I don’t remember ever having those thoughts as I grew up. Is that weird?
