Please Stop Tweeting, Joyce Carol Oates

A few days ago, scarily prolific writer Joyce Carol Oates decided to start tweeting ignorant racist thoughts on all sorts of topics! Why? Who knows!

There was this:

Where 99.3% of women report having been sexually harassed & rape is epidemic—Egypt—natural to inquire: what’s the predominant religion?

Writers expressed their outrage/simply cringed, but that didn’t deter her from sharing her thoughts on the Trayvon Martin trial today.

If Zimmerman had killed another “white man”—would any of his supporters care at all about him now? & why not?
