Harvey Levin, the founder of TMZ who has become quite cozy with Donald Trump, has set his sights on the next POTUS: Kris Jenner.
TMZ has encouraged plenty of other celebrities to run for president, including Kanye West and The Rock, but according to Bloomberg, “For now, the Kardashian-Jenners appear to be the front-runner in TMZ’s celebrity president horse race.” Please, no.
Bloomberg reports that Levin floated the idea by Jenner while taping an episode for Fox News’s Objectified:
Standing across from Jenner at a kitchen island, he tried to coax an announcement out of her, noting that the family has together amassed some 700 million followers on social media. “Have you ever thought of using that to push a political agenda?” Levin asked. “Because you could probably get people elected and voted out of office.” Jenner responded that she was focused on her family’s philanthropic efforts. “Can we take that as a maybe?” Levin said, grinning.
Kim Kardashian recently dipped into politics when she asked Donald Trump to pardon 63-year-old Alice Marie Johnson, a move that convinced rapper The Game that “Kim K. is running for president.”
“You know how many of them will go vote if Kylie tweets ‘Vote for my sister’?” he asked a TMZ reporter.
Jenner has demurred (at least for now).
