Pharrell's New Video Looks Like a Musical Tampon Ad

Agile carefree women dressed in white… dancing in a field… gleefully. Any of this sound familiar? Directed by Edgar Wright, Pharrell’s music video for “Gust of Wind” takes place in a forest not unlike Where the Wild Things Are and looks a lot like those unrealistic tampon ads of yore.

Pharrell, still wearing The Hat, corrals a group of women as he sings about the healing powers of a goddess and philosophical things, like, “If you never discover, forever you’ll suffer.”
