Ovarian Cancer Screenings Not So Effective In Saving Lives

According to new research, annual screenings for ovarian cancer would only reduce the cancer’s mortality rate by 11%. No currently-available screening program was proven to save lives, as the disease is rare and tends to spread without causing symptoms.
