Though representatives for New York Giant Odell Beckham Jr. did not respond to Jezebel’s requests for comment on the latest Lena Dunham projectile heard round the internet, over the last two days not one but two reporters have come face to face with Beckham and asked him about the inevitable. His response: basically, he doesn’t know her.
A Complex reporter encountered the wide receiver at a GQ party last night and asked him for comment. Beckham’s response: “I don’t have enough information to really speak on it. We’ll see what happens from there. I never want any problems with anybody in this world.”
And today, sports reporter Jordan Raanan posted an Insta video when another reporter asked his thoughts in a locker room chat. He said, “I don’t really know much about the situation,” and essentially confirmed what we’ve all known since the beginning: he is more interested in things that are “relevant” to his life, such as being good at his job.
“Right now, my focus is way bigger,” he said. He really doesn’t know her!
