Obama Fumbles Toast To Queen In Second Royal Gaffe

Yesterday, President Obama wrote the wrong date in Westminster Abbey’s guest book and (I’m only going to type this once) Fox News may be right that this would have been a bigger deal if George W. Bush had done it.

In what’s being billed as a second misstep, last night the orchestra decided Obama’s toast was done and started playing “God Save The Queen” before he finished. Obama joked later that the music added “a crescendo” to his words, and it did make the speech seem much more inspiring. Maybe Obama isn’t portrayed as a bumbling idiot because he makes even his mistakes look cool. (Or perhaps, as Fox News suggests, we all decided not to make fun of him during our weekly Liberal Media meeting.)
