Jeb Bush angered/confused both Democrats and Republicans by giving immigrants the most awkward backhanded compliment of all time during today's Faith and Freedom Coalitionā€™s Road to the Majority conference.

ā€œImmigrants create far more businesses than native-born Americans,ā€ he said. ā€œImmigrants are more fertile, and they love families, and they have more intact families, and they bring a younger population. Immigrants create an engine of economic prosperity."

Bush, whose wife is a Mexican-born immigran, is a noted advocate for comprehensive immigration reform. But he might want to work on finessing his talking points.
