New York Times' Modern Love Column Gets a Podcast

Latest

Christmas has come early for superfans of the New York Times’ Modern Love column—the series will be spun off into a new podcast via Boston’s WBUR radio station.

In the 11 years since its introduction, Modern Love has published around 600 essays about love, romance, and our other odd human proclivities. Starting in 2016, according to The Hollywood Reporter, celebrities like Judd Apatow, Jason Alexander and January Jones will read the stories aloud on the podcast. Hosts Meghna Chakrabarti and Daniel Jones will also interview either the narrator or the writer of the column, following up on their connection to the original piece.

Hopefully they’ll bring Maria Bello back: her column was a Jezebel favorite. And if you’d like a refresher, the Times served up their top ten Modern Love columns for your enjoyment.
