The National Enquirer made the bold claim that Alex Rodriguez, aka A-Rod, is cheating on Jennifer Lopez, aka J.Lo, with “THIS WOMAN.” Though the headline was accompanied by a helpful yellow arrow pointing at a tiny little photo of “THIS WOMAN,” I still don’t know her, so I had to reference Page Six’s writeup of the story.
They write:
[The National Enquirer] quotes extensively from what they say are racy text messages between the former slugger and buff fitness model Lauren Hunter, which included naked pictures of her.
According to the magazine, Hunter claims she and the ex-Yankee began dating back in 2011, when he was still seeing actress Cameron Diaz and have been in touch ever since.
Hunter—excuse me, THIS WOMAN—claims she and A-Rod began FaceTiming “three or four times a day” soon after he started seeing Lopez, and that she would occasionally send “explicit messages and photos.”
A-Rod’s rep reportedly “declined to comment” on the story, probably because they didn’t know how to respond to a question like, “Who is this woman?”

Us Weekly published a story Wednesday morning with the headline “Serena Williams’ Adorable Dog Chip Is Just Like Us.” Though initially skeptical, I was willing to read it all the way through to see if I was, in fact, just like Serena Williams’s adorable dog chip.
Alas, none of their arguments did anything to back up the piece’s weighty claim:
Williams, 35, who is expecting her first child with her fiancé, Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian, takes her furry love just about everywhere with her.
Williams, 35, who is expecting her first child with her fiancé, Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian, doesn’t take me anywhere.
“Chill time,” she most recently captioned an Instagram snap on May 27 of herself and Chip hanging out with friends.
I have never hung out with Williams and her friends.
In another sweet Instagram video posted in July 2015 after her big Wimbledon win, Williams can be heard asking Chip if he missed his mama and if he’s happy she won Wimbledon. In the seriously cute clip, Chip obediently nods his tiny head “yes” in response.
Williams has never asked me a question about anything, let alone something as personal as whether or not I miss my parents. Also, I have a big head.
Then there’s this photo of Chip in bed with two women:
Nope, can’t relate.
Speaking of Us Weekly, here’s today’s cover:
