Disney is ramping up publicity for the May 30th release of Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie, and here’s some breaking news: Like a ferocious bird of prey or a newfangled sanitary pad, Maleficent has wings.

Or at least, she used to. And they were magnificent, taloned, inky black raptor wings. She says: “I had wings once. They were strong. They were stolen from me.” Uh oh. The PR juggernaut for this flick includes a Facebook page, a Twitter account and a Pinterest board. But so far, no information on how to get cheekbones so sharp you could slice a ham on them. Maybe closer to opening night?
