Miley Cyrus Tells Matt Lauer He's Definitely Too Old to Be Having Sex

This morning on Today, Matt Lauer asked Miley Cyrus if her new sexually charged side was a phase, and if soon, she would move on to something else.

Miley joked: “I heard when you turn 40 things start to go a little less sexual. So probably around 40, around that time I heard that’s when some people don’t have sex anymore. I guess maybe around then.”

“Do you know how old I am?” Matt asked.

“I’m going to guess 40,” Miley replied.

Matt’s face lit up with glee as he said “I love you again!” and informed Miley that he is 55.

Miley: “55… Oh, well, then you’re really definitely not sexual.”

In general, most of the interview was like a looping .wav file of Popeye catchphrases. “This is just who I am,” Miley said, a few times, in different ways. When asked if her antics were drawing attention away from her talent, Miley said:

I don’t worry about anything because I know who I am and I know that I’m an artist and put this time and effort into my record and my record is proof of really who I am and, you know, I said something before where for me the most important thing is being a really good person and that doesn’t depend on what you do on stage. That depends on how you treat people when you’re off stage and I know how I treat people so i’m not too worried about it.

On her parents:

For me my parents have always been about being really who you are — and figuring that out… And what’s good about that is — I trust them a lot so I can go to them with pretty much anything than a lot of kids that have to hide things from their parents that I don’t have to, because my parents are just accepting. That’s what real love is, is unconditional, and that means it doesn’t depend on what you’re doing… It’s just that means they love you no matter what and that’s what parents are supposed to be.

Pretty cool.
