Director Todd Phillips has cut Mel Gibson from The Hangover 2 because he "didn't have the full support" of the cast and crew. Though ex-con Mike Tyson was acceptable, Zach Galifianakis has suggested he didn't want to work with Mel.
Not that I'm rooting for Mel Gibson to get anymore work, but isn't this sort of like the pot calling the kettle black? Mel's anti-semitism and attitude toward women is despicable, but so was The Hangover's treatment of Asians and female characters.
I don't know. I feel like this is probably a touchy subject, but I hated The Hangover only slightly less than I hate Mel Gibson. Zach Galifianakis was the only redeeming part of that movie, which— as a whole— made me feel disgusted and I didn't laugh once. Just me, apparently.
